British Arab Network Chairman offers deep condolences to Saudi Arabia on death of King Abdullah in interview on Egyptian state TV

Dr Wafik Moustafa, Chairman of the British Arab Network, has expressed his sadness at the death of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah, in an interview with Egyptian State TV. Dr Moustafa offered his deep condolences to the Saudi Royal family and to the Saudi people.  He also paid tribute to King Abdullah’s work and leadership for the Kingdom over six decades. Dr. Moustafa added that the late king had also played a central and crucial role in supporting Egypt in its time of need.

Dr. Moustafa welcomed His Majesty King Salman’s ascension to the throne and said he believed that the new King would meet the challenges for stability and security in Saudi Arabia and the region.
