Dr. Wafik Moustafa, Chairman of the British Arab Network, has offered his condolences to the victims and families of the EgyptAir crash in an interview on the Islam Channel.
Dr Moustafa said that the plane crash was a tragedy and that his thoughts and prayers were with those who were killed and their families. He said he was disappointed that initially the Egyptian authorities, without waiting for the evidence, put out the line that it was a terrorist attack as it is imperative to find out the real cause of the crash for the sake of passenger safety. Dr. Moustafa reiterated his call for Egypt to review its security procedures and practices in civilian aviation.
